The West NYC x adidas Gazelle “Wizard” is Pure Magic

New York City’s West NYC has been involved in some of the most legendary trainer collaborations over the past few years, and while most brands seem to be slowing down a bit, the American boutique’s planning to end the year with a big bang with the upcoming West NYC x adidas Gazelle “Wizard.” Taking on one of the most popular silhouettes of the year, you’ve never seen a Gazelle as magical as this.

Crafted from rich purple suede, this sneaker is inspired by sorcerers and spellcasters. Shiny silver accents grace the Three Stripe branding across the lateral and medial sidewalls, and while most Gazelles sit on top of gum rubber midsoles, this one is painted in a soft lilac hue and has been given a semi-translucent makeover so that wearers looks like they’re levitating.

But what really sets this adidas collaboration apart are all the little details. The tongue and heel, for example, proudly showcase a Merlin-inspired graphic, while the custom metal hangtag features West NYC’s logo paired with the adidas Trefoil inside a crystal ball. The box also comes with lots of extras, including a silky dust bag, metallic charms, and three sets of ribbon laces in purple, gold, and white, providing plenty of options for personalisation.
