But this year, Nike will be giving it its flowers with drops such as the Air Jordan 5 “Earth.” And even though this was made exclusively for all the female sneakerheads out there, that’s not going to stop some guys from squeezing into a pair.

First and foremost, this AJ5 places premium materials at the forefront. The upper is made entirely from “Muslin” leather that’s soft and buttery to the touch, and this is contrasted with “Earth” tones that hit the collar, lacing system, and Air midsole.

While Jordan Brand could’ve left it there and these would’ve sold out anyway, it’s gone one step further by adding shiny gold tones to the tongue and outsole. This offers up the perfect balance of subtlety and boldness. The Air Jordan 5 is then finished off with Jumpman branding that’s embroidered around the back, as well as the number “23” on the lateral heel, nodding to Michael Jordan’s iconic jersey number.
