Two years ago, Nike shocked the sneakerverse when it announced its collaboration with Tiffany & Co. Regarded by many as one of the greatest Air Force 1s ever made, it sold out in seconds. And even though it’s been around for two years now, resale prices aren’t coming down anytime soon. So if you, like basically everyone, didn’t manage to secure a pair, the brand new Nike Air Force 1 “Aurora Green” is a shoe that you need in your collection ASAP.
From a distance, this AF1 looks exactly like the Tiffany version. The “Aurora Green” Swoosh bears a striking resemblance to the “Tiffany Blue” one, and the upper, while decked out in tumbled leather and not suede, is almost like-for-like. Even the midsole has been completely blacked out.
But that’s where all the similarities begin and end. Because if you take a closer look, you’ll realise that this wasn’t made with the New York City jewellery brand at all. The cursive logo isn’t stitched on the tongue, and you won’t find a big slab of .925 silver around the heel. What you will get though, is a trainer that you can wear all-day, everyday, and one that you don’t have to remortgage your house just to get.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Aurora Green” offers a fresh take on a timeless classic. Dropping sometime in Spring 2025, let us know if you’ll be going for them and be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
