First Look at the Pharrell Williams x adidas Jellyfish

Pharrell Williams and adidas have been collaborating up for a decade now. Over the years, the power duo have worked on some of the most influential sneakers out there, including the “Supercolor” collection and the NMD Human Race. And to celebrate their 10th year anniversary, the Pharrell Williams x adidas Jellyfish has been unwrapped.

The Jellyfish was first teased last year, when Skateboard P himself rocked a pair during Paris Fashion Week. Obviously inspired by the newly revived Adistar Cushion 3, it features chunkier, beefier dimensions that seem to be borrowed from Balenciaga.

For this colourway, “Core Black” Three Stripes hit the sidewalls, while the orange and white exoskeleton gives it a sculptural, dynamic aesthetic. Thick rope laces tie everything together, and you’ll also find fin-like details throughout which are meant to resemble a jellyfish’s tentacles. All of this then rests on top of a hefty midsole that’s seemingly infused with Adiprene technology for added comfort and bounce.
