The Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 992 “Aged Well” Pays Homage to The Partnership

Without a shadow of a doubt, Joe Freshgoods has been one of the greatest New Balance collaborators of all time. Since 2020, the Chicago-based creative has dropped some of the hottest grails out there, including his take 993 as well as the 650 that was limited to just 500 pairs worldwide. His next shoe, the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 992 “Aged Well,” is basically a collaboration that celebrates this collaboration, and if you want a pair, here’s everything that you need to know.

Decked out in mesh, premium leather, and pigskin suede, Freshgoods’ new 992 is as luxe as it gets. The classic “N” logo is stitched across the lateral and medial sidewalls, while his initials “JFG” are embroidered around the tongue and rear. While he could’ve just left it like that, the designer has then applied a pre-aged finish on the entire trainer, hence the “Aged Well” moniker.

Down south, you’ll find the iconic ABZORB midsole in pink, and all of this comes packed in a special edition shoebox that was made exclusively for this release. And, while it should come as no surprise, it’s worth reminding that this sneaker is, indeed, made in the US of A. So you can expect the highest levels of quality and craftsmanship.
