Back in September, early shots of the Hayley Wilson x Nike SB Dunk Low leaked online. And while there were some doubts cast on whether or not the sneaker was actually legit, thanks to these on-foot shots, it looks like they’re the real deal. From a distance, this SB Dunk looks exactly like the legendary “Court Purple” colourway. But the athlete’s added her own spin on things. The overlays, for example, are decked out in premium suede, while the slick black Swoosh across the sides is made of leather. Barbed wire-like detailing appears around the back, while the Nike branding on the tongue and heel is stitched in a gothic font for a rebellious vibe.

Underfoot, the midsole is infused with Zoom Air for unrivalled comfort, and the outsole is dipped in a translucent blue. And while you can’t see it while you’re the sneakers, the insole is printed with a rose, a spider-web, and a scorpion in a tattoo-inspired style.

This release underscores Wilson’s impact on the skateboarding world. As the youngest qualifier in the X Games Women’s Street Division at just 15 years old, her innovative approach and technical skill have set her apart in the sport.
