The adidas “Year of the Snake” Collection is Off the Scales

With the Lunar New Year coming up just around the corner, some of the universe’s biggest sportswear companies are readying their festive collections, including the all-new adidas “Year of the Snake” pack. Featuring a total of three truly iconic silhouettes, each pair has been redesigned with details that celebrate the sixth animal in the Chinese zodiac.

Kicking things off is the Superstar, which has been reworked with a subtle snakeskin upper. The legendary Shelltoe hits the front for that classic look that we all know and love, while matte “Core Black” Three Stripe branding is stitched across the lateral and medial sidewalls. Next, we have the Samba, which is accented with light grey suede across the toebox. All of this then rests on top of a gum rubber midsole, which has been around since the late ’40s.

To finish off the pack, a Campus 00s has also been revealed. While the other two pairs are dipped in white, this one opts for a soft pink suede upper instead. However, no matter which one you go for, they’re all accented with fiery red and shiny gold tones, and they come packed in a special edition shoebox that was made exclusively for this drop.
