For 2025, Nike has taken the wraps off of the brand new Nike Air Max 1 “Valentine’s Day 2025.” And while you might not even know it yet, it’s destined to be your solemate.

From a distance, the “Valentine’s Day 2025” looks like just another classic white Air Max 1. But as soon as you take a closer look, you’ll know that it’s something very special. Working on top of a crisp mesh base, it’s overlaid by premium leather panels throughout.

Mismatched red and pink Swooshes glide across the lateral and medial sidewalls in glossy patent, and these are complemented by branding on both the tongue tag and the heel badge. Playful details continue with the laces, printed with the phrase, “It’s not you, it’s me,” evoking the charm of classic candy hearts. All of this then rests on top of an Air Max midsole that’s as comfortable as it gets.

However, the standout feature of this AM1 has got to be the shiny “NIKE” dubraes. Inspired by the metallic helium balloons that you might give your crush on Cupid’s favourite day, this is a feature that we’ve never seen before on any other sneaker.
