The Nike Air Max 90 “Sound Wave” is Music to Our Ears

Even though the Air Max 90‘s been around for well over three decades, throughout all this time, we’ve never seen a colourway quite like the Nike Air Max 90 “Sound Wave.” While it may look like another clean, neutral-toned AM90 from a distance, as soon as you take a closer look you’ll realise that there’s more than meets the eye.

As with most AM90s, this special edition works on top of a breathable mesh base and is overlaid by panels and panels of suede throughout. Rubber detailing hits the lacing system and heel badge, while a bright orange leather Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial sidewalls for a pop of contrast that is sure to turn heads wherever you go.

But that’s not the only thing that’ll grab everyone’s attention, as around the heel of the sneaker you’ll find the aforementioned “Sound Wave” that comes in a blend of red, blue, and yellow. This graphic extends to the “Nike” tongue tag, and all of this rests on top of a chunky Air-infused midsole, complete with a vibrant bubble just to round things off nicely.
