The Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Cranes” Finally Takes Flight

The Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Cranes” has landed. The long awaited sequel to the 2022 grail of the same name, while the previous version was painted in a slick all-black colour scheme, this new edition opts for a lighter and brighter palette that’s perfect for the warmer months ahead.

Drawing inspiration from Hachimura’s Japanese roots, the Washington Wizards power forward’s latest collaboration with Jordan Brand might just be his best one to date. Working on top of a premium “Oatmeal” base, the buttery suede material extends from the toebox all the way to the tongue, offering a soft and refined aesthetic. Throughout the upper, you’ll find panels and panels of luxurious leather, and these are all embroidered with cranes and sakura flowers. Not only do these pay homage to the professional basketball player’s culture, they’re also symbols of good fortune and longevity.

A black Swoosh glides across the lateral and medial sidewalls, and this is highlighted with shiny metallic gold accents. Around the back, the heel badge is decorated with a dark teal winged basketball, and all of this then rests on top of a “Sail” midsole that’s infused with Nike‘s critically-acclaimed Air technology for unrivalled comfort. The “Cranes” is then rounded off with grippy gum rubber outsole, finalising the Air Jordan 1 Low design.

The Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Cranes” will come in special packaging that was made exclusively for this drop. Set to release in Spring 2025, let us know if you prefer this or its predecessor, and be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
