If you didn’t know already, animal print is expected to be one of the hottest trends of the new year. And it looks like Nike is leaping way ahead of the curve with the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low “Cheetah.” Sure, the American sportswear company has added big cat spots to its legendary basketball shoe before. But unlike all of those iterations, this special version comes with a twist.
Working on top of a cheetah-inspired base, the base itself is decked out in pony hair for a more realistic aesthetic. While Nike could’ve just left it there and this would’ve sold out anyway, it’s gone one step further by adding denim overlays across the front, back and lacing system. This gives off a Westerncore-esque look that’s extremely popular these days.
Corduroy Swooshes glide through the lateral and medial sidewalls, and all of this sits on top of a chunky Air midsole. The Air Force 1 is then finished off with “Baroque Brown” accents throughout, which make their way to the cotton laces and the star-spangled rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Cheetah Blue Denim” stands out for its wild approach while honouring the legacy of the AF1. Dropping sometime in Spring 2025, let us know if you’ll be going for these, and be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
